Accessibility Statement

Sing Me Well is committed to creating calm, inclusive and emotionally safe experiences, both in our sessions and across our website. This page sets out what we do today and the adjustments we are happy to discuss.

An inclusive service

  • We welcome neurodivergent clients and design our sessions to be sensory-considered and predictable.
  • We pace sessions thoughtfully, with clear language and no pressure to perform.
  • We adapt our work for a wide range of voices, bodies and life experiences.
  • We are happy to discuss adjustments before, during or between sessions.

Sensory considerations

We aim for environments, both physical and digital, that feel calm rather than stimulating. Lighting, sound and pace can be adjusted where possible. For online sessions, we are happy to begin with cameras off, simplified backgrounds, or other adjustments that help you feel at ease.

Requesting accessibility support

If you would like to discuss accessibility, sensory needs or any adjustments that would help you take part more comfortably, please let us know in your enquiry or consultation. Common adjustments include:

  • Extra processing time, breaks, or shorter sessions.
  • Written summaries or simplified instructions.
  • Choice of online or in-person format.
  • Adjusted communication preferences (email rather than phone, for example).

Digital accessibility

We aim for our website to meet recognised accessibility standards. Current efforts include:

  • Calm, low-contrast aesthetic that still meets readable contrast levels.
  • Responsive design that adapts to phones, tablets and computers.
  • Keyboard-navigable menus and forms.
  • Descriptive labels and alternative text on key images.
  • Use of plain English wherever possible.

Accessibility is an ongoing journey. If something on the site is difficult to use, we genuinely want to hear about it.
