About our service
The Sing Me Well Method is designed to support wellbeing, emotional expression, and nervous system regulation through voice-led practices. Our work is evidence-informed but is offered as a wellbeing service, not a clinical or medical service.
Sessions are offered on an enquiry, application or referral basis. We reserve the right to decline or end an arrangement where a different form of support would be more appropriate.
Important disclaimers
- Sing Me Well is not therapy, counselling, psychiatry, coaching for mental illness, or medical treatment.
- Sessions are wellbeing-focused and evidence-informed, drawing on voice, breath and nervous-system-aware practices.
- Our services do not diagnose, treat or cure any medical or mental health condition.
- Clients experiencing significant mental health concerns should seek qualified medical or therapeutic support.
If you have a relevant medical, psychological or vocal condition, please share what feels appropriate during your consultation so we can consider suitability together.
Consultations and suitability
New clients begin with a short consultation. This allows us to understand what you are looking for, share what the work involves, and decide together whether sessions are a good fit. We may decline to proceed where we feel another professional would serve you better. This is always communicated with care.
Bookings and payment
Pricing is offered on an enquiry basis and confirmed in writing before booking. Once a session is booked, payment is due in line with the terms shared at the time of booking. Bookings are only confirmed once payment (or an agreed deposit) is received.
Where deposits are taken, they may be non-refundable but can normally be applied to a rescheduled session in line with our Refunds & Cancellations Policy.
Cancellations, rescheduling and late arrivals
We ask for as much notice as possible if you need to reschedule or cancel. Full details are in our Refunds & Cancellations Policy. In summary:
- Cancellations with 48 hours' notice or more can normally be rescheduled at no charge.
- Cancellations within 48 hours may be charged in full.
- If you arrive late, your session will still end at the scheduled time.
- Missed sessions without notice are charged in full.
- Exceptional circumstances are always considered with compassion.
Online and in-person sessions
Sessions may be offered online or in person. You are responsible for ensuring a private, quiet and safe environment for online sessions, including a stable internet connection and a device with working audio. We do not record sessions without your explicit consent.
Respectful behaviour
Our sessions are emotionally safe spaces. We expect all clients to engage with respect, care and honesty. We reserve the right to end a session or working relationship, without refund where appropriate, in the rare event of behaviour that is unsafe, abusive, discriminatory or otherwise inappropriate.
Confidentiality
What you share in sessions is treated as confidential. Confidentiality may be limited where we have a safeguarding concern, where there is a serious risk to you or others, or where we are required to share information by law. Any such limits are explained in our Safeguarding & Young People Policy.
Age requirements and minors
Adult sessions are intended for clients aged 18 and over. We may work with young people on a case-by-case basis with the consent and ongoing involvement of a parent or legal guardian. Parents and guardians remain responsible for minors at all times and must agree to our Safeguarding & Young People Policy before sessions begin.
